Yesterday, we had a glorious warm, sunny day and today, a flood advisory! Luckily, I was able to steal a little time out of doors with Crane and Stella and they graciously modeled hats so that I was able to do an update last night. There are still a few berets left! I also take commissions on any of my self-designed knit hats, so if there is a specific beret or pixie hat your dollies need, pull my string!
On another knitting note, I finally finished knitting up the brilliant Blythe Hoodie pattern by nxtdrgrrl! Notes on my modifications can be found on Flickr an on my Ravelry projects page. I’ll post the written instructions for the buttonhole modification soon. Thank you so much for this wonderful pattern Paula! I loved knitting it and look forward to making many more!
We will also be having a Knitting Blythe Meet soon! I look forward to teaching those who would like to learn and assisting those who want to take their basic skills further. I love knitting!
After pouring over several of my vintage needlepoint books and drooling over beautiful photos of vintage linens on the many crafty blogs I frequent, I decided to try some new embroidery stitches! Nothing sets off embroidery quite like gingham, so I kept it simple and let the embroidery stand out.

Pink Clip Dot Dresses are up!
The dress I made for my new Yuki was so well received, I decided to listen to the masses and make more! I plan on making the same dress in light blue and lavender. Each dress comes with a white polka dot crinoline. This is the first time I have made multiples of the same dress. I hope you all like them!
While traveling, I had the opportunity to do some knitting!
I have added a few bonnets to the Parasol Doll Shop on ArtFire. Each bonnet was handknit in a design of my own creation. The gradient wool yarn has a little bit of acrylic and silk which makes them soft to the touch! The ties can worn in front or in back for a different look.
I will be adding more gradient bonnets and some lace bonnets to the store this week!
Hair bows are added almost every day!
